I like having fun with people.
It's just... love. But not in a romantic way. It's just love in general.
Because in a romantic way, there is something that you want for yourself, and I don't think that's what love is.
Love is giving, love is wanting everybody to feel good and be well.
Love is wanting to love people because you already feel loved.
The biggest obstacle to loving others is not feeling loved yourself. So that's a losing game because everyone is waiting to be loved first before loving in return.
Which,
of course, is a dead-end.
But when you are first loved by God, then you can love others. And you understand that, in fact, you're not even seeking love from them because it wouldn't satisfy you the
way God's love does.
And following this logic, even the love that you give to others, you don't expect it to be something that change their lives.
You expect this love to be a pointer/indicator that the same source of love is available to them as well.
And finally, this love that you exchange - because each of you are overflowing with it - could be described as something very different than what we're used to: celebration.
Celebrating life in a fraternal way.
In a loving way.
"We love because he first loved us." 1 John 4:19
"the Father comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Moses did not know that the skin of his face had become radiant while he spoke with the Lord." Exodus 34:29
