The Best Life Adventure is to Live Like Christ
July 2024
Make the radical decision to renounce personal gain, personal accumulation.
In terms of finances but also social status.
Life is NOT about seeking more money nor a higher status (Matthew 6:19-21).
Decide that this won't be the driver of any of your actions anymore.
Walk on the earth loving, connecting, bringing light, putting your talents to use, creating, celebrating, bringing joy, blessing people.
Make the radical decision to renounce accumulation/amassing/hoarding/storing/collecting.
If money occurs, it is used back for the cause.
If exposure happens, it is used for the cause.
And the cause is: encouraging people to withdraw their eyes from worldly chases (that are all vain in achieving what they pursue)
and redirect them to what matters, to what actually fills the void they are trying to fill:
Reading the Bible.
Humble life conditions, nice little home, some normal-moderate savings.
But not looking to improve your life conditions nor grow those savings.
Let me repeat that: do not pursue improving your life conditions nor grow your savings.
Do not pursue owning real estate either.
Just owning land by the end of your life because it feels right and sovereign, yes. Living with your wife, doggos, growing your own food, inviting your
children and grand children to stay over for the holidays. With God at the center of those family gatherings.
And a looot of love, worship and laughters.
With your wife and the people in your life thinking just like you, valuing the same things, having the same priorities.
Free from the crazy harassement from society trying to make you engage in absurd, pride-centered,
glory-of-men-seeking wordly chases.
So, in fact, you're always satisfied.
This is a life of profound categorical satisfaction.
Because you desire nothing else than growing your relationship with God. And you act out of this peace.
And money flows your way in unexpected and sufficient amounts to live a materially sufficient life.
Really, the life of the "worldy chases" that you don't NEED (but think you do) is so absurd.
Every guy who has a stroke or cancer and survives always immediately resets his priorities.
Stop hurting yourself with stupid thoughts of "my personal gains (money, status, relationships..etc) are not enough".!
Life is NOT about accumulation. Just admit you indulged in the chase because - like everybody else - you had no clue what to do on earth so you decided to
copy these people... who had no clue either.
It's just a crowd movement of terrified people who have forgotten where they come from
and their place in Creation.
That's the crowd movement of a godless society.
"I don't know where I'm going but I'm following the crowd" says... literaly every individual in the crowd.
...
Nope. Calm down. Get out from the crowd and look up!
Look up instead of looking around.
Start your relationship with God.
And spend the rest of your life growing it, getting always closer to Him.
Take the "Christ adventure".
Strive to live like Jesus.
